Each candle is one week. The body spans the week's open and close (green when it closed higher, red when lower); the wick marks the weekly high and low. Candles are aggregated from daily closing prices, so weekly highs and lows reflect daily closes rather than intraday extremes. Volume bars below show weekly trading activity.
Our quantitative model projects KuCoin (KCS) price scenarios from its 67.0% annualised volatility and a downward -46% trailing 12-month trend, with expected returns decaying toward a long-run baseline as the asset matures. At today's price of $6.44, the base case points to roughly $6.36 by end of 2026 and $8.46 by 2035 (a bull case near $17.44, a bear case near $2.71).
| Year | Bear | Base | Bull | Base ROI |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2026 | $5.22 | $6.36 | $8.16 | -1% |
| 2027 | $4.17 | $6.24 | $9.48 | -3% |
| 2028 | $3.54 | $6.25 | $10.48 | -3% |
| 2029 | $3.08 | $6.35 | $11.47 | -1% |
| 2030 | $2.71 | $6.54 | $12.53 | +2% |
| 2035 | $2.71 | $8.46 | $17.44 | +31% |
A prolonged risk-off market, weaker liquidity or coin-specific setbacks could press KCS toward $2.71 by 2035. Drawdowns of 50–80% are historically normal for crypto assets.
Steady adoption in line with the broader market puts KCS near $8.46 by 2035 — about +31% versus today.
A strong cycle, accelerating demand or a structural catalyst could lift KCS toward $17.44 by 2035, which would require reclaiming and exceeding its prior all-time high.
The projection is generated algorithmically from KuCoin's own price history — there is no human price target. We measure realised volatility from up to a year of the asset's own price history (daily where available, otherwise weekly) and anchor a base annual growth rate to recent momentum, then decay that rate toward a conservative long-run baseline (compounding compresses as an asset matures). Bear and bull bands widen with volatility scaled by the square root of the horizon, and the bear case is floored to remain realistic. Outputs are rounded scenario estimates, not guarantees.
Not financial advice. Cryptocurrency is highly volatile and these model-based scenarios can be wrong by a wide margin. Do your own research.

KuCoin (KCS) is an exchange token tied to a major trading platform, where it is typically used for fee discounts, product access and ecosystem incentives. Its demand is closely linked to the health, volume and regulatory standing of the exchange that issues it. As of August 2026, KuCoin is the #71 cryptocurrency by market capitalisation, trading near $6.44.
The token is issued on a host blockchain and integrated into the exchange's products — paying reduced trading fees, unlocking launchpad allocations or earning rewards. Many issuers periodically buy back and burn tokens using exchange profits, reducing supply over time.
KuCoin's price reflects the balance of supply and demand. Supply is not hard-capped, so issuance and token unlocks are worth watching alongside demand. On the demand side, the main forces are the broader crypto market cycle (assets tend to rise and fall together with Bitcoin and overall liquidity), real usage and adoption of the exchange, macro conditions such as interest rates and risk appetite, and project-specific catalysts like upgrades, listings, partnerships or regulation. At roughly 78% below its all-time high, a meaningful part of any bull case is simply recovering ground already proven possible.
There is no one-size-fits-all answer. KuCoin offers exposure to a specific corner of the crypto market with its own adoption thesis, but every cryptocurrency carries real risk: prices are highly volatile, drawdowns of 50–80% are historically normal, and outcomes depend on execution, competition and an evolving regulatory landscape. A reasonable approach is to size any position to what you can afford to lose, treat the model-based scenarios above as illustrations rather than promises, and weigh KuCoin's fundamentals against alternatives. This is information, not financial advice.
Sentiment votes are crowd-sourced and may not reflect actual price movements. Community and dev metrics indicate ecosystem health, not investment quality.

At $6.44, KuCoin (KCS) is currently deep in a drawdown from its all-time high. That is 77.7% below the record high of $28.83, and roughly 1,778% above the all-time low of $0.3429.
Momentum-wise, KCS has traded broadly sideways over the past month (+1.75% (7d), -4.68% (30d), -46.66% (1y)). With 24-hour volume at 0.4% of market cap, turnover is relatively thin, so larger orders can move the price more easily. Crypto prices are highly volatile; these readings describe recent history, not a forecast.
As an exchange token, KCS derives utility from its host exchange — trading-fee discounts, launchpad access, and periodic token burns that reduce supply as exchange volume grows.
KuCoin has no fixed supply cap, so the rate of new issuance (and any burn mechanism that removes tokens) is an important driver of its long-term price.
Like nearly all crypto assets, KCS also trades with a strong correlation to Bitcoin and to overall risk appetite. Macro liquidity, US-dollar strength, interest-rate expectations, regulatory headlines and new exchange listings can all move the price independently of project fundamentals.
KuCoin is an international cryptocurrency exchange based out of Seychelle that currently supports the trading of 250 digital assets. What’s unique about KuCoin is that they share 50% of their overall trading fee revenue with users holding their exchange-based token. In a similar fashion to Binance, KuCoin offers relatively low tradings fees and incentives for holding (or trading) its native cryptocurrency. Back in 2011, the founders started researching blockchain tech and went further to build the technical architecture for KuCoin in 2013. 4 years later, the exchange launched with the ultimate goal of “becoming one of the top 10 worldwide hottest exchange platform[s]” by 2019.
As stated on their official website which lists 12 core members, “Kucoin aims at providing users digital asset transaction and exchange services which are even more safe and convenient, integrating premium assets worldwide, and constructing state of the art transaction platform”. CEO and founder, Michael Gam, is a former technical expert at Ant Financial, an affiliate company of the Chinese Alibaba Group. He was also a senior partner at Internet giants like MikeCRM and KF5.COM. OO, Eric Don, is referred to as a “senior Internet researcher, systems architect, and Internet industry star”. He is also stated to be the CTO and senior partner of IT companies including YOULIN.COM, KITEME, and REINOT. However, it’s unclear if these websites actually exist as they did not show in a Google search or when entering the website domains. According to his LinkedIn, he is currently CTO at Youlin Network Technologies, yet there is no mention of KITEME or REINOT.

Bitcoin (BTC) was the first cryptocurrency, designed primarily as a digital store of value and peer-to-peer payment network with a fixed supply of 21 million coins. KuCoin (KCS) focuses on exchange-based tokens use cases, with a different technical design, supply schedule, and ecosystem. Bitcoin derives its value primarily from scarcity, security, and brand recognition, while KuCoin's value is tied to adoption within its specific use case and underlying network effects.

It updates continuously as the price moves.
The price of KuCoin (KCS) is set continuously by supply and demand across global exchanges. The main factors are its circulating and maximum supply, trading volume and liquidity, overall crypto-market sentiment, its correlation with Bitcoin, regulatory developments, and real adoption of the underlying network. Because the market trades 24 hours a day, the price can change at any moment.
No one can reliably predict the future price of KuCoin or any cryptocurrency. Where sufficient history is available, this page shows a model-based forecast range derived from historical volatility and trend — it should be read as a scenario illustration, not a target or a promise. Crypto prices are highly volatile and shaped by events no model can foresee, so always do your own research and never invest more than you can afford to lose.
"Safe" depends on two separate things: how you hold KuCoin (KCS), and price risk. For custody, use reputable exchanges and consider a self-custody hardware wallet for larger amounts, and never share your private keys or seed phrase. For price, every cryptocurrency is volatile and can lose value quickly, so only commit capital you can afford to lose. Being listed on major exchanges is not an endorsement or a guarantee against loss.
Whether KuCoin can be staked depends on its consensus mechanism. Proof-of-Stake networks let holders lock KCS — by running a validator or delegating to one — to help secure the network and earn rewards. Check KuCoin's underlying technology first, use only reputable providers, and be aware that staked funds can face lock-up periods and, on some networks, slashing penalties.
